There are two major airports conveniently located
near San Francisco. San
Francisco International Airport (SFO) is located 13 miles
south of San Francisco and has direct BART
(Bay Area Rapid Transit) service. Oakland
International Airport (OAK) is located
20 miles across the San Francisco Bay in Oakland and has connecting
AirBART shuttle service to the Oakland Coliseum BART station. In
addition to BART, there are airport taxi cabs and several door-to-door
shuttle van services that offer ground transportation to and from
