New York 2007

With co-sponsor Columbia Law School, Lieff Global LLP hosted the Fall 2007 Global Justice Forum on November 2, 2007 in New York City. The Forum was coordinated by Lieff Global along with Professor Benjamin Liebman, Director of the Center for Chinese Legal Studies of Columbia Law School.

The November 2, 2007 event included sessions on current legal trends in China and Latin America, as well as other topics. Professors from Columbia specializing in these areas served as panelists, along with practitioners. Rome 2007

With co-sponsors worldwide, Lieff Global LLP hosted the Global Justice Forum 2007 in Rome, Italy. The forum addressed the representation of plaintiffs worldwide and reviewed the latest developments in the substantive tort law of several nations. For the past three years, the Global Justice Forum has brought together over 200 lawyers from 35 countries on six continents, laying the foundation for a network of plaintiffs' counsel worldwide.

Through the review of significant current cases, the Forum addressed many of the practical challenges faced by attorneys representing plaintiffs outside their resident nations. We included an interactive session in which past attendees discussed their recent experiences "on the front lines" of international litigation and answered questions from panelists and the audience. Paris 2006

Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, LLP, one of the world’s leading plaintiffs’ law firms, hosted Global Justice Forum 2006. Over 80 lawyers from 20 countries on 6 continents attended the Forum and laid the foundation for a network of counsel worldwide. Global Justice Forum 2005 was hosted by Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, LLP in London, England. The program was designed to provide practical information about the prosecution and resolution of non-U.S. nationals' claims in United States courts, including presentations of pretrial and trial procedures, remedies and settlements.
