Daniel Girard
Daniel Girard is the managing partner of Girard Gibbs LLP, a complex litigation firm with offices in San Francisco and New York. He specializes in federal securities litigation on behalf of investors and has represented and counseled some of the leading institutional investors in the United States and abroad.
He currently serves as lead counsel in several major securities class actions, including case against Royal Bank of Scotland, SLM Corporation (Sallie Mae), and UBS. He has served since 2004 on the United States Judicial Conference Advisory Committee on Civil Rules, which is charged with evaluating and implementing proposed changes to procedural rules governing trial practice in the federal courts.
