Joseph R. Saveri
Joseph Saveri is the Antitrust and Intellectual Property practice group Chair for the law firm of Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, LLP. Mr. Saveri has twenty years of civil antitrust litigation experience including, the federal trial of the pharmaceutical industry for brand-name prescription drugs price-fixing, and served as co-lead and co-liaison counsel in related litigation in California state court.
Mr. Saveri has developed extensive antitrust experience across numerous industries, including banking, bank cards, commercial explosives, computer software and hardware, consumer electronics, energy, financial services, magnetic tape, carpets, X-ray film, the travel and transportation industry, dairy, retailing, entertainment, glass, packaging, paper products, cosmetics, and agricultural products. Mr. Saveri has represented clients in many significant cases, including federal multi-district litigation and cases in federal and state courts throughout the country.
Mr. Saveri, an AV-Peer Review Rated attorney, is one of the authors of California Antitrust Law published by the State Bar of California's Antitrust and Unfair Competition Section, and a contributor to the California Class Action treatise. He is also a frequent lecturer and panelist on antitrust and complex litigation matters, and has been recognized as a Northern California Super Lawyer by Law & Politics magazine.
