Richard M. Heimann
Richard M. Heimann chairs the securities and financial fraud practice group at Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, LLP. The firm's clients include public pension funds, union funds and non-public institutional investors including mutual funds as well as high-wealth and individual investors. Mr. Heimann also represents clients in antitrust, mass torts and personal injury cases.
Mr. Heimann has amassed substantial trial experience. He obtained a jury verdict of over $171 million in Claghorn v. Edsaco, one of the largest jury awards in the U.S. in 2002. Mr. Heimann also played a leading role in representing states in litigation against the tobacco industry that resulted in the landmark $206 billion settlement in 1998. For the past three years, Law & Politics magazine has recognized Mr. Heimann as a Northern California Super Lawyer.
