Stefano Bertone

Stefano Bertone is a plaintiff lawyer at Ambrosio & Commodo, a leading Italian plaintiffs' firm. He focuses on personal injury and product liability. Since 2003 he has been coordinating A&C's activities in representing hundreds of Italian hemophiliacs infected with HIV and/or HCV from contaminated blood products in litigation in the United States and Italy.

Stefano and the firm are also involved in the Al Salam Boccaccio '98 Tragedy Consortium (along with Robert Lieff, Nigel Taylor, Yasser Fathy and the Martin-Chico firm) in representing Egyptian families of deceased passengers and crew of the ASB 98 ro-ro ferry, which caught fire, capsized and sunk in the Red Sea on February 2, 2006, killing more than 1,000.
