Ulya Selçuk
Ms. Selçuk is a Trademark & Patent attorney who graduated in 1997 from the University of Dokuz Eylül – Izmir Faculty of Law. She received a 1999 Masters in "European Integration" from the European Institut – Section Law of University Saarbrücken/Germany with a Rotary International Paul Haris 50th Anniversary Scholarship. She was admitted to the Istanbul bar assocation in 2001 and to the Turkish Patent Institute in 2003. In 2004 she received a Masters degree at University of Uludag/Bursa in "International Relationships" (Masters Thesis: "State aids in the framework of EU – Competition Law"). In 2009 she became a columnist for legal news at the "Istanbul Post," a German-published newspaper in Turkey.
Ms. Selçuk is a member of Istanbul Kuruçesme Rotary Club D-2420, the Istanbul Bar, the German Genaral Consulate in Istanbul/Turkey list of German speaking lawyers, the German Office For Foreign Trade list of German speaking lawyers, the BVMW – German Confederation of Middle-Sized Economies and the GRUR – German Association for Industrial Property and Copyright Law. She maintains an expertise in foreign investment in Turkey and company formation, EU State aids law, EU fonds, corporation & commercial Law, contracts law, labour Law, mining & energy Law, intellectual & industrial rights, and litigation.
